Laura Potts



Laura Potts joins The Oncology Group bringing more than 40 years of experience in a variety of oncology settings including hospital-based programs, private physician practices and clinical research organizations. Her career has been operationally focused on cancer program development; new and renovation facilities projects; revenue cycle and clinical process improvements.

Laura's work experiences range from directing a large central business billing office to managing the 'day-to-day' clinical and technical site operations of cancer centers. She has had regional responsibilities managing multiple practice locations and working with hospital joint ventures. Laura is a certified Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma with emphasis on revenue cycle and clinical process Improvements.

A Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives, she has published articles with several professional oncology organizations. Her doctoral dissertation on the 'Career Needs of Hospital RNs' also lead to a variety of publications and professional speaking engagements.

Laura holds a BA in Zoology from The University of Tulsa; MA in Healthcare Administration from Central Michigan University; Ed.D. in Human Resource Development from Oklahoma State University. She earned a MT(ASCP) after completing the Saint Francis Hospital School of Medical Technology program in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
